Foundations for the Future

This year the focus of Excelsior, HSC’s annual giving campaign, is ‘Foundations for the Future’, as the work that we do on this year’s campaign will lay the groundwork for programs we will be able to offer in 2012-2013 and beyond.

We are committed to continually providing the learning spaces, resources and level of care that our parents and students have come to expect from one of Canada’s leading independent schools. Students learn best in fully-resourced spaces that are designed to bring out their passion for learning and allow the spark of an idea to become a fire of creativity. In order to provide these opportunities for students to learn and grow, we rely on the leadership of our whole community to support the College through our Excelsior Annual Giving Campaign. Excelsior is one of our most important fundraising efforts and is vitally important to the life of our College.  Tuition fees provide the foundation for excellence, but support for this campaign enhances the educational environment for all students.

This year, our goal is to raise $300,000 for Excelsior, as well as increasing participation within our community. We have close to 800 current families and more than 3,000 active alumni in our database; with everyone’s help, we can make these goals a reality.

Each and every gift, no matter its size, makes a difference.  It is the collective participation by us all which helps to ensure we remain Canada’s foremost independent school and sustains our tradition of excellence.  

Donating is easy. Simply click here to download the Excelsior donation form. You can also donate by calling the Advancement Office at 905-389-1367 ext. 161. Payment methods include Visa, Mastercard, HSC account, and cheque.  For more information about Excelsior, please contact Marnie Helmy in the Advancement Office at ext. 107 or marnie.helmy@hsc.on.ca.  As a registered charitable organization, HSC will provide tax receipts for all eligible donations in the year in which they are made.

At HSC, we are always striving for Excellence.
