Family Campaign

In January 2010 the Transformation HSC Family Campaign was launched to current parents and alumni. In its first year the HSC community banded strongly together to raise $1 million for the capital campaign. Following the decision to begin construction on the new Michael G. DeGroote Senior School last February, current parent and HSC Governor, Dr. Nick Bontis ,has agreed to lead the Family Campaign in its revised goal of raising an additional $4 million for Phase II of the campaign. Assisting Dr. Bontis will be a team including the four School Principals, the staff of the Advancement Office and other key volunteers, including Mr. Paul Lee-Chin '00.

Overall campaign Co-Chair Jeff Paikin said, “A new donor recognition icon is currently in the design stage, and will allow us to very publicly acknowledge in the new facilities those parent and alumni families who have contributed in a significant way to making this project a success.  We want to celebrate all the families who together will allow us to make this vision become real.”

Donors to the Transformation HSC campaign at the $25,000 and up level will be permanently celebrated with the new donor recognition icon, which will be positioned in the walkway linking the new school to the existing campus.
