Remembering Your Traditions |
Upcoming Events |
The Alumni office and the Alumni Association have been working diligently to help preserve our traditions.
Almost a year ago HSC began the process of digitizing all of the yearbooks dating back to the earliest editions of the Boar and the Pibroch. Old school photographs and team pictures are being preserved. Old trophies are being resurrected, refurbished and brought back into our lives. We are still in the process of collecting and preserving old school uniforms and team uniforms.
Most exciting of all – we want to find a home where these treasures can be prominently displayed. Our dream is to bring traditions back into the forefront of student and family lives in the HSC community. The current capital project known as “Transformation HSC” will ultimately see a new Senior School and College-wide Athletic facility built on the west side of our campus; display cases for more prominent display of our rich heritage will be constructed within these new facilities to keep our traditions alive.
As we continue to prioritize the accessibility and preservation of our archival collection, we are asking you to consider donating any items of memorabilia that you might have. We are looking for missing yearbooks, caps, mugs, ties, pins, other uniform items, etc. Please call the Alumni Office at 905-389-1367 ext 102 to offer your assistance.

The Colin B. Glassco Foundation receives donation from HSC
February 5 and 6, 2009 were two very special days at HSC as Mr. Colin B. Glassco flew from Calgary to visit with us. In his various presentations to the Middle, Junior and Montessori Schools, and to Mr. Whittard’s World Issues classes, Mr. Glassco focused on the importance of clean water, especially as a support for the children who receive trachoma surgery in the Gwembe Valley in Zambia. The water wells that the Glassco Foundation digs provide clean water for drinking and cleansing, and the run-off has encouraged a variety of beneficial crops to spring up.
In support of the Colin B. Glassco Charitable Foundation for Children, HSC held a College-wide alternate dress day on January 22, and sold environmentally friendly water bottles throughout the month of January. Over 600 water bottles have been sold to date! READ MORE
