To all Alumni and Friends of HSC

I am honoured to serve as President of the HSC Alumni Association for the 2011/12 and 2012/13 school years. I invite all of you to play a part in helping us to uphold the great traditions which have been the cornerstone of our success, our source of pride, and the strength to keep us at the forefront in all that we do.

Over the next several years, we will continue to support and improve current initiatives such as the Alumni Award of Distinction, the Welcome Back dinner at Homecoming, Alumni sports, the Alumni scholarship program and the annual Golf Tournament. Watch for us at the Remembrance Day Service on November 11, and Carol Service in December.  I am particularly excited to see strong Alumni recognition as reflected in the “Alumni Way” component of the Transformation HSC project.

With your help, our focus will be to enhance the profile of the Alumni Association by increasing our active membership, encouraging involvement of the extended HSC family in school events and Alumni activities, and developing social and reunion opportunities throughout the year. New in November 2011, we will be hosting an Alumni Volunteer Conference, showcasing the HSC Alumni Association as an innovative group through sharing best practices amongst alumni volunteers across CAIS schools.

Your relationship with the college does not end at graduation – you are a lifetime member of the HSC community. Your Alumni Association is here to encourage your connection with the college through our programs and initiatives.
