The Czech Boys’ Concert Choir from the city of Hradec Kralove, in North Bohemia, maintains the renowned traditions of boys’ choral singing, as it began in the 13th century in the Czech territory. The Czech Boys Concert Choir will perform at HSC while on their 2011 North American tour. Under the direction of Maestros Jennifer and Jakub Martinec, the choir will perform compositions by Dvorák, Händel, Mozart and Hayden.

This memorable concert will conclude with a musical journey around the world, with the audience travelling the globe through the national and folk songs of Asia, Europe and South America.

Darcy Hepner has turned Hamilton, his hometown, into Jazz Town. Savour this transformation in a memorable evening with The Darcy Hepner Jazz Orchestra. For this performance, the Crescendo stage will host a veritable who’s who amongst Canadian jazz musicians.

The performance will include compositions and arrangements of the legendary Thad Jones, who rose to fame through his arrangements for Count Basie and Sarah Vaughan.
