The merger of two venerable Canadian educational associations has created a new
national voice in independent education
Last week, at the Annual Conference of the Canadian Association of Independent Schools (CAIS), a watershed decision was made that will have a positive impact on independent schools in Canada for many decades to come. In a nutshell, CAIS member schools voted overwhelmingly to disband CAIS and to amalgamate with CESI in order to create a new national organization dedicated to the promotion and improvement of independent schools nationwide.
