HSC alumnus, Matthew Gray-Smith ’08 earns place on Dean’s List at Berklee College of Music

Matthew Gray-Smith ’08 has earned placement on the Dean’s List for the fall semester of the 2008 academic year at Berklee College of Music. To be eligible for this honour, a full-time student must achieve a grade point average of 3.4 or above. Matthew is studying for a degree in Jazz Performance. “Matthew could not have accomplished this achievement without the encouragement and education of Dr. Burton and the school’s community”, said Matthew’s parents, Carol Gray and Brian Smith.

Berklee College is a renowned international music post-secondary school located in Boston, Massachusetts. Famous alumni musicians who have studied and have been associated with Berklee include Diana Krall, Aretha Franklin, Quincy Jones, John Mayer and many others.
