A very successful winter season for Senior School Athletics

The Junior Girls Volleyball team had an outstanding season finishing 1st overall in league play. This allowed us to host the Semi-Finals and Finals on Saturday, March 7th. HSC played De LaSalle in their semi-final game in the morning and came up against a tough team who seemed to get to every ball that HSC hit at them. Unfortunately the girls lost to DeLaSalle and finished their season one game too early.

The Junior Boys Basketball Team finished third in league play and earned a spot in the semi-finals by easily beating Ridley College. In the semi-final game the boys came up against UCC who finished second in league play and beat the Junior team by one point during the season. Our boys played a very good game to beat the UCC 43 - 39. They went on to play St. Mikes in the final and lost to an outstanding team.

The Senior Boys Div. II Basketball team played very well toward the end of the season and earned a birth in the playoffs. They won in overtime against DeLaSalle in the game just prior to the quarter finals and then were victorious again when they met up as quarter final opponents. HSC played first place Greenwood College and lost the semi-final to end their season.
