A triple play helps fight hunger in local communities

This year, HSC partnered with Shaw Cable and Campbell’s Canada for its annual Thanksgiving Food Drive.  Between September 27 and October 5 students, faculty, and families College-wide opened their cupboards and gave generously to this worthwhile cause. 

The HSC community donated 5,001 lbs. of food. With the new partnership, all of the donations were doubled by Shaw Cable and then tripled by Campbell’s Canada for a total of 15,003 lbs. of food benefiting Neighbour to Neighbour (Hamilton), Jarvis Food Bank (Jarvis) and Salvation Army (Dunnville).
