A unique feature of the Junior School is our HUB Room where our students have the opportunity to have classes in Design technology and Computer Skills. Students are encouraged to take risks and use problem solving techniques to solve tasks that they are given. This is a hands-on room with plenty of found and purchased resources designed to enhance student involvement.

The Junior School students hone their computer skills on laptop computers. Students begin formal computer classes beginning in Grade 1 and follow a progressive skills program which encourages an appropriate age and stage skills continuum; responsible use of the computer, graphic organizers, Internet research, Power Point presentations, identifying menu bar functions, learning about the keyboard and its function keys, and conducting searches are but a few of the skills our students master.
