August Mailing
Following consultation with parents last spring, we resolved that all of the publications previously printed and mailed to parents in the August mailing would be replaced by electronic communication with links to publications posted on the College website.
The only exception is the College Calendar. Parent feedback indicted that this is the publication that we should continue to print. In addition to reducing costs, this change reflects the College’s commitment to ‘green’ practices and environmental sustainability.
Watch for your August mailing package next week for additional details. In the meantime, you can click on the link provided below for main dates for the upcoming academic year.

On Thursday, July 30, 2009, The Honourable Dale Parayeski was sworn in as a Judge of the Superior Court of Justice. Held at the John Sopinka Court House in Hamilton, the service was filled with tradition, as well as moving tributes.
The Honourable Heather F. Smith, Chief Justice of the Superior Court of Justice, and The Honourable C. Hole in One for HSC Director of Operations!
On Monday August 10, 2009 HSC attended the annual charity golf tournament organized by the Hamilton Tiger Cats in support of a variety of local community charities, held at Century Pines Golf Club in Flamborough.
Team Rob Reiner, Chris Kwiecien, Bob Neibert and Kris Zelinsky were assisted by their designated Ti-Cat representative and Quarterback, Adam Tafralis, in bringing home an amazing 15 under par score!
They were pipped at the winning post by only one point, but the highlight of the day and the tournament was a very sweet Hole in One for HSC Director of Operations, Chris Kwiecien, on the fifth hole! Congratulations Mr. K!
Pictured are Rob Reiner presenting Chris Kwiecien with his Hole in One trophy containing the winning ball, and the winning team at the tournament, along with Tom Matthews and Adrienne Davidson.
