2010 Alumni Award of Distinction Winner Announced
HSC is proud to announce that the 2010-2011 Alumni Award of Distinction recipient is Mr. Bob Young, Class of 1972. Bob Young is a highly successful entrepreneur and will be honoured on Friday, September 17, 2010 as he participates in the HSC Prefect Installation ceremony, following which he will address the Senior School as a leader who will inspire our next generation.

Green Plan Framework for a Sustainable Future
In 2009, Hillfield Strathallan College began work to develop a comprehensive Green Plan to align all aspects of its operations with the broadly-held ideals of environmental stewardship, responsibility and sustainability. Working with Stephanie Foster from Fostering Sustainability, the Green School Steering Committee has developed a Green Plan Framework to provide the foundation upon which the soon-to-be established HSC Green Team will continue to build and develop our own detailed Green Plan.

In mid-July the College sent each family their 2010/11 Route Schedule. If you have not already done so, please ensure that you review your child’s bus route as soon as possible. Please pay close attention to the stops and times indicated on your route schedule. Your family may have different route stops or times than in previous years.
