Dear Friends,

The Tim Hortons' Rise and Shine Leadership Breakfast will take place in Lawson Hall on Friday March 6th, at 7:00am. The Social Action Committee, the Event Steering Committee, Alison and I would like to invite you to buy a ticket and join us. Tickets are available at the Campus Store, where they can be charged to your HSC account or through Mrs. Jenkins by cash, cheque or credit card.  Please call 905 389 1367. This event is a great way to support your community and enjoy breakfast with your friends and family.

A list of servers is outlined below. These community leaders will act as mentors and serve breakfast to everyone attending the event, including some City Kidz and HSC students. A variety of food items, coffee, tea and hot cocolate will be provided by Tim Hortons, and the HSC kitchen staff will supplement the Tim's offerings with Eggs, hash browns, and the like – delicious!  ere will be live and silent auctions, including original autographed Sydney Crosby collector's items. Come and enjoy! It promises to be a wonderful morning, with food, laughter, and music (the HSC Jazz Ensemble will be performing), and will conclude well before school - or work - begins.

Tickets are priced at $30.00.   All proceeds go to City Kidz.

Over the course of the last year, the Social Action Committee, many other key students and faculty members have worked hard to prepare for the event. We genuinely hope that you will join us in support of this fun event.

Hope to see you for breakfast!

William Peat & Alison Ower, Event Co-Chairs
