Established the Colin Glassco Foundation following a successful career in business The Foundation provides funding for eye clinics, school supplies, clean water, among other projects The Foundation is now the largest private driller of wells in Zambia, which has resulted in the infection rates among children in the region to drop to less than 10 per cent The Foundation also provides funding in Canada for underprivileged children in addition to working with Dreams Take Flight to provide trips to Disney World for chronically ill, and/or mentally, physically and emotionally challenged children

Dr. Sheila Singh '90 • • •

Pediatric Neurosurgeon and Canada Research Chair in human stem cell biology Professor of Surgery and Biochemistry at McMaster University Through the Terry Fox Frontiers Program Project Grant, she is the first woman to lead a research project of this kind as lead Principal Investigator Speaks internationally as the Research Director for McMaster’s Division of Neurosurgery

Founded Red Hat Inc., an open source software company His entrepreneurial endeavors include commercial drone technology, a self-publishing company and owner of the Hamilton Tiger Cats CFL team His philanthropic efforts focus on access to information, and he cofounded The Center for the Public Domain which provides free online legal resources, sponsored public domain spaces on the internet and copyright reform

Judge of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice with a specialty in Labour and Employment Law Was consistently referred in Lexpert Canada’s Leading Employment Lawyers as one of the top 500 lawyers in Canada Lectured extensively on Canadian employment law, publishing six books and produced half a dozen videos He was the first lawyer to earn a Certified Human Resource Certificate An avid baseball fan, he was the recipient of “Man of the Year” by the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame and was named on the “100 Most Influential Canadians in Baseball” list in 2008

A pioneer in establishing the prevention of sexual harassment at all workplaces, she was the leading instructing counsel before the Supreme Court of India in 1997 which solidified legally binding directions on workplace sexual harassment Provides high-end expertise to Internal Committee investigations of Workplace Sexual Harassment Was honoured with the ALL Grassroots Women of the Decade Achievers Award for her work in gender equality in the workplace

Prof. Ratna Kapur '78 • •

A graduate from Cambridge University and the Harvard Law School She has been a Professor of Law at the International Global Law and Policy Institute at Harvard Law School; the Jindal Global Law school in India; and at the Queen Mary University of London Has published extensively on issues such as human rights and international law, with particular focus on freedom of expression, gender equality, sexual rights and same-sex marriage

Ms. Lori Morris '82 • •

Internationally recognized interior designer and founder of the House of LMD Her work has been featured in Architectural Digest and she was recognized by the Andrew Martin Interior Design Review of the World’s Top 100 Designers Focus on female empowerment with speaking engagements with youth on following their passions and driving their own futures

Dr. Sunjay Sharma '98 • • • •

is the Chief of Neurosurgery and Medical Director of Critical Care for Hamilton General Hospital. One of the country's only doctors trained in surgical and critical care. Ran the Hamilton General Hospital’s ICU during COVID-19 – one of the busiest COVID units in the country When he’s not working, he can be found either spending time with his family (two kids now in HSC’s Montessori school), practicing krav maga, or trying out the newest dining spots as an avid foodie.

Glassco Foundation for Children. “In our efforts to eradicate a painful form of blindness among children, we have committed to providing clean water to everyone within the Gwembe Valley in Zambia. The Foundation drills 60 new wells annually and is the largest private driller of wells in Zambia.”

Multidisciplinary artist, composer, dramaturge and facilitator Received his MFA from Bard College in New York after studying at the University of Toronto Recipient of a Chalmers Arts Fellowship, the MacDowell fellow and an affiliated researcher at the Milieux Institute of Montreal Was an artist in residence at The Toronto Public Library and is part of a team that leads Public Recordings – a Toronto based organization focused on interdisciplinary performance, publication and learning

Served as both defense counsel and Crown prosecutor during her career in law Spent the last 12 years of her career as a Judge of the Ontario Court of Justice, presiding exclusively over criminal matters Serves on various boards dedicated to furthering the Mental Health of Canadians including the Mental Health Commission of Canada, the Institute of Families for Child and Youth Mental Health and the Eva Rothwell Centre in Hamilton
