Our Climate Action Plan
At HSC, we are committed to setting the standard for sustainability in education. Our large campus, rich in natural resources, enhances student learning while addressing the existential challenges of the global climate crisis. As a leader in Canadian education, we practice, learn, and teach environmental stewardship to inspire future generations. By 2030, we aim to achieve carbon neutrality and maintain our position as a benchmark for eco-friendly campuses.
This year, we formalized our Green Spaces campus map, which outlines the more than 50 areas along our main campus trail connector route where we have invested in eco-friendly practices, such as campus naturalization projects, biodiverse habitats and energy reduction technology.
