Building for the Next 125 Years
As the College celebrates 125 years of educational history, we are launching the next phase of our Campus Master Plan: building a New Middle School. HSC students in Grade 5 through 8 are inspired to learn through a robust, Project-Based Learning model. While the current Middle School building has served students beautifully since 1962, HSC’s innovative approach to education has outgrown these traditional spaces. The Middle School years are the connective tissue of the student experience—the physical and metaphorical bridge turning our campus into a unified whole. This campaign is not about growing enrolment. It is about providing a modern, purpose-built environment that matches the calibre of our world-class pedagogy and unlocks our students’ full potential.
Significant connections have already been forged. The foundation for this campaign is firmly in place and momentum is building daily. We invite all members of the HSC family to participate in a way that is meaningful to them.
Construction on a new entrance to the College from Garth Street began in June 2026. As the new roadway into campus takes shape, plans for even greater connections are underway.
Strategic Plan
Our Strategic Plan is a living framework born from a deeply collaborative process involving our entire community. Guided by our mission to learn with joy and live with purpose, this plan serves as a wayfinding marker for HSC’s future—focusing on enhancing our learning environments, reimagining time and space, and fostering a diverse, equitable and inclusive culture. While first-rate academics remain our core focus, this framework weaves together citizenship, emotional intelligence, and wellbeing to ensure our students excel far beyond our campus.
