A well-nourished student is a thriving student. We believe that a positive food culture is intrinsically linked to academic performance and overall wellbeing. Our comprehensive Nutrition Program is designed to provide students with delicious, healthy meals that fuel their learning and growth.

Lawson Hall is more than just a cafeteria; it’s a vibrant space where students can make informed choices about their nutrition. We offer a diverse menu of freshly prepared, hot lunch options, catering to a wide range of tastes and dietary needs. Our full salad bar and sandwich selections provide students with customizable, nutritious alternatives. For students in Grade 8 and below, our snack program ensures they have access to healthy snacks throughout the school day.

Quality Ingredients, Thoughtful Preparation

We believe that ingredients count. That’s why our meals are prepared from scratch using locally sourced Ontario ingredients whenever possible. We prioritize whole grains, naturally low sodium content, and healthy cooking techniques to create balanced and nutritious meals. Our portion sizes are carefully considered to ensure students receive the right amount of fuel for their active minds and bodies.

Ensuring Safety and Inclusivity

We are committed to creating a safe and inclusive dining environment for all students. Our comprehensive allergy awareness program ensures that common food allergens are clearly noted with every meal served. For our younger students in Junior and Montessori Schools, faculty members provide guidance and support during lunchtime, helping them make healthy meal choices. We are also dedicated to accommodating additional dietary requirements, ensuring that every student has access to nutritious and safe food.
