HSC’s Dedicated Bus Service

We understand that a smooth start to the school day sets the stage for success. That’s why we’re proud to offer a comprehensive and reliable bus service, designed to transport our students safely and efficiently within the expanded radius of our beautiful campus.

We believe that every student deserves a comfortable and secure commute. Our dedicated fleet of buses, operated by highly trained and professional drivers, ensures that your child arrives on campus ready to learn and engage.

Your Child’s Journey, Our Priority

Convenient Scheduling

  • Buses arrive on campus between 8:15 – 8:25 a.m. each morning.
  • Afternoon departures are at 3:30 p.m. daily.
  • A second afternoon run departs at 5:00 p.m. from Monday to Thursday (subject to exceptions and traffic conditions).
  • Friday’s have a no late bus schedule.

Comprehensive Coverage

  • Our extensive network of routes ensures that students from our catchment area can access our exceptional education.

Safety First

  • All drivers are Ministry of Transportation-inspected and undergo rigorous training, including first aid and EpiPen administration.
  • We maintain a strict no-eating policy on our buses, particularly crucial for students with allergies.
  • Drivers are subject to on-route road evaluations, and quarterly license checks.

Supervised and Secure

  • Teachers are on hand to greet and assist students upon arrival and departure.
  • The Transportation Manager or a designated staff member is always present during dismissal.
  • Students in Grade 4/M9 and under must be met by a parent/guardian at their drop off point.
  • Students in Grades 5-12 can be dropped off without an adult present with written permission.

Timely Communication

  • We provide email notifications for delays exceeding 10 minutes.
  • We highly recommend subscribing to the Trackem GPS application to track your child’s bus.

Support and Assistance

  • If your child misses the bus, our transportation team will do their best to arrange alternative transport.
  • Lost items can be retrieved through the bus driver or the transportation office’s lost and found.
  • Drivers are trained in student management, and conduct/incident reports are used when further support is required.

HSC Transportation FAQ

Students as young as those enrolled in our Early Education three-year-old programs (M3 or PK3) can access our bus system.

To accommodate the 5:00 p.m. bus run, a centrally located drop-off may be used Monday to Thursday for 3:30 p.m. bus runs. All students are welcome to stay in programming until 5:00 p.m. On Fridays, the 3:30 p.m. bus makes all stops normally served by the 5:00 p.m. bus.

Yes, daily transportation of morning pick-up and two afternoon drop-off options (see bulk drop-off FAQ for details), are included in tuition fees for ages 3 to 18.
