Our Valued Partners
Empowerment Squared
We’re proud to collaborate with Empowerment Squared, an organization dedicated to supporting newcomer and refugee youth and families. Our students have the opportunity to participate in mentorship programs, educational initiatives, and community events, fostering cross-cultural understanding and building bridges of friendship. Through our partnership, students learn first hand the challenges that new Canadians face, and get to be a part of the solutions.
Gore Park Outreach
Our partnership with Gore Park Outreach allows students to directly address issues of food security and homelessness in our local community. By volunteering at outreach programs, preparing meals, and organizing donation drives, students gain a deeper understanding of social inequality and the importance of giving back. This partnership allows our students to witness the power of compassion, and the impact that small actions can have on the lives of others.
The 3 Wishes Project
HSC is also committed to working with the 3 Wishes Project, an initiative focused on enhancing the end-of-life experience for patients and their families. Our students contribute through fundraising, creating comfort items, and raising awareness, learning about compassion and the importance of dignity in all stages of life.
