We look forward to welcoming friends of HSC to the College on Friday, November 22, 2024 for an experience they'll never forget.

HSC invites friends of our Grade 3/M8 through Grade 8 students for a fun-filled day on campus at HSC. Limited spaces are available, register early to avoid disappointment. Guests will experience all that our College has to offer - robust academic programming, nutritious lunch, college-wide assembly and a caring and welcoming community.

Guests will register at 9:00 a.m. in HSC's Kemper Lounge and our student ambassadors will be outside at Foxcroft Circle ready to point you in the right direction. Guests will be picked up from the same area at 3:00 p.m.  Sorry, no guests are allowed on HSC Transportation.

  • What is Trojan for a Day?

    Our students know how great it is to be an HSC Trojan and they get to share the experience with their friends during this annual visit-day event. Students in Grades 3/Montessori 8 through to Grade 8 invite a non-HSC student to join them for a day at the College where they get to see what it's like to learn at HSC.
  • Who is eligible to visit?

    Current HSC students in Grades 3/M8 to Grade 8 may invite one friend. Friends must be within one grade level of the host student.  
  • What's the schedule for the day?



     9:00 - 9:30 a.m. Arrival
    • Visiting students will meet their hosts in Kemper Lounge for registration.
    9:30 a.m.
    • Visiting students will follow their host to their morning classes and take part in the various activities and lessons of the day. 
    Assembly
    • Following morning classes, guests will join HSC students for the weekly assembly gathering in the Athletic Centre where we will share College-wide event updates and observe various community days.
    Lunch
    • Students can choose from a variety of delicious and nutritious lunch options in Lawson Hall.
    1:00 p.m. (approx.)
    • After lunch, students will return to the classroom to resume curricular and athletic programming per the HSC hosts academic schedule.
    2:45 p.m.
    • Hosts and visiting students will re-convene in Kemper Lounge for farewells.
    3:00 p.m.
    • Visitor parents will meet their children in Kemper Lounge for pick-up and sign-out.
  • What should visitors bring?

    Just bring yourselves!
    Visiting students do not need to bring their own food, as HSC will provide healthy snacks and lunch for the day. Refillable water bottles, pen and paper will also be provided.
  • What should visitors wear?

    Visiting students are encouraged to dress comfortably, and wear a pair of running shoes. We also ask that parents pack weather appropriate clothes for recess.
  • Where do I park when I drop off my child?

    When you arrive on campus, visitor parking is located north of the Senior School complex, closest to Foxcroft Circle. Follow signage indicating which spots are for visitors.
