Starting as early as 18 months, Montessori-trained teachers help our youngest students refine their senses, explore language, coordinate movements, express independence and take joy in accomplishment. Our three to five-year-old CASA students develop responsibility and take ownership for their own learning. With the guidance of the faculty, they begin to choose their own work and materials to develop their skills.

As students move into our Elementary Program for six to nine-year olds, their self-disciplined approach to learning allows them pursue interests and seek challenge. The curriculum continues to support independent learning at this stage of development, but focuses on building problem solving and critical thinking skills. Mixed age groups enable our students to mentor their peers—building both social and emotional values. The curriculum follows a progressive continuum that enables a seamless transition into our Middle School.

Our program is set in a 24,000 square foot building designed specifically to support a Montessori education. Interconnected classrooms allow for movement within the learning spaces. Each room contains age and stage appropriate Montessori multi-sensory, sequential and self-correcting learning apparatus.

We dedicate a variety of spaces to our extensive rotary program: a French room, elementary library, computer lab, music studio, gymnasium, late duty care facility and The Living Room, where students collect, research and swap objects of interest.
